A Bit About Me
Hello, my name is Madison, and I have always been an overly passionate person. I was the little girl from a small town dreaming of being a Ballerina, a NASA scientist, and a Broadway star - obviously, I could make all three work. But when I first became a lifeguard in 2018, my world was forever changed. For the first time, I felt like I had found a little sliver of the world where I truly belonged.

If you had told 16-year-old me that I would turn my first job into my life's work, I wouldn't have believed you. However, a truly amazing first boss and a little app called TikTok opened my eyes to the world of Aquatics. In 2020, I was a senior in high school and trapped in my room due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I lost not only my passion for theatre and senior year musical (which was Shrek - my favorite musical), but I was also unable to work as a lifeguard. So I combined my love of both, and thus The Singing Lifeguard on TikTok was born.

Here I am, over 5 years and more than 300,000 followers later, trying to leave my mark on the aquatic industry. From CPR song videos to a free water safety course and a book detailing the history of lifeguards, I'm thrilled to share it all with you!
